On Sunday, May 1st from 11-2 the WGA will be having a Geocaching 101 class at the Mill Yard Park in Cornell, WI. Can't miss it just look for the giant stacker.

From 11:00 - 1:00

There will be several kinds of caches hidden around the park. There will be serveral GPS units available to go out and find these caches in tandem with a chaperon. We will also have the coordinates written down for you to enter into your own GPS. The caches are meant to demonstrate serveral different hiding techniques and styles. The caches will be temporary but there is a vast array of permanent caches around the area and on the islands nearby. 

During this time we will have a display up of caches and information about geocaching. This is also a great time to chat with out WGA Board members and get to know them. 

At 1:00 the geocaching 101 class will begin. 

2:00 the event is over and you can use your newfound knowledge to explore the world of geocaching.
