I had been planning on releasing a very fun little adventure I went on this spring getting the cache CF - Not Hawaii but my Sony gaming laptop crashed about 2 weeks ago. It might have been longer as my frustrations have turned time into a blur. I didn't want to give up because I really like my laptop. It is very well equipped for editing video and has been virtually problem free until now.
Windows 8.1 gives you a mocking frowny face on its blue screen of death.
I finally got everything backed up and installed Windows 10 Insider Edition a couple days ago. This is a beta version that is not out for full release until late summer or this fall. Altogether it is seem like a very nice operating system that is more laptop and desktop friendly compared to Windows 8. Windows 10 is much less tablet friendly than 8.
But alas, my back up disks and a few other programs will not work with Windows 10. Instead of posting the exciting video on CF - Not Hawaii, (and getting done many other important things for events, the Wisconsin Geocaching Association, and a couple other groups) I have turned into a technology blogger. Hopefully I will get the video edited and posted before the Felsenmeer event this Saturday.
